Bressingham Gardens, Norfolk – Foggy Bottom

The Foggy Bottom Garden was created by Adrian Bloom after he joined the family business in 1962. He wanted to create a garden with planting for year-round colour, using primarily conifers and heathers. He was able to gradually develop a six-acre garden on the site of an empty meadow. Over 500 different conifers and 100 heathers from all over the world have become a wealth of mature conifers, trees, and shrubs. These form a backdrop to ornamental grasses and perennials.
