About this blog

The Pinbroidery blog has information about making hand-stitched greeting cards. There are posts on technique, free patterns and news from the Form-A-Lines and Stitching Cards online stores.

My name is David Jefferson and I live near the historic English market town of St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England. I am a designer of stitching card patterns. I created the patterns in the Pinbroidery, Stitching Cards and Form-A-Lines range.

Pinbroidery patterns are available in the Form-A-Lines online store.

You may have noticed our web address starts with c3z3.com. This domain is shared with other blogs administered by David Jefferson, and bringing them together makes them more efficient in time and cost. Just type c3z3.com into your web browser and you will reach a page with a link to this blog.

I have been asked why c3z3? The name was chosen because it is short, so easy to remember. The C is for card and the Z is for zone. The number 3 has powerful symbolism. Think about good things coming in 3s. Wherever the number 3 shows up in your life, it’s generally an omen of creativity, communication, optimism, and curiosity.
